I always like coming to the comments to find these kinds of “this doesn’t work in the real world” posts. I’m never disappointed.

My wife and I both work so we have a housekeeping service come twice a month to do some of the deep cleaning for us. My wife, of course, will clean before the housekeeping service comes.

While I agree with the premise, if a friend responded to my coffee request with a formal proposal — I'd de-friend. I think a simple: "Sounds good. How about 2pm at Starbucks?" is sufficient.
