Why brackets? You bring nothing helpful or interesting here, and you are the one you added snark. I do not know who “we” is, nor do I agree that reading an article I didn’t pay for (sort of like 98% of all content on the internet) means I have to pretend to be grateful. All the author needed to do was check spelling.…
Spell check is on every single computer, tablet, laptop... and still, we get “extravert” (I still contend that the plural of octopus is “octopi”, but was told that is too pedantic). “Extrovert” is indeed correct. I think he is spelling words the way he hears them, maybe?
I guess we are all just going to spell words…
Well damn, I just clocked something to prove I’m not a robot. Now you tell me I am?! Well, that does explain my weird craving for batteries.... (if you get that reference, you are my new best friend)
I wrote a Blog for them. It was fun for a while, I wrote about ways to make life more fun and full and how to enjoy sex (actual tips, real research, photos), but the Blogs that were pretty much just “Heeeeere are my boobs!” did so much better, I gave up after a while. So I guess I am there somewhere. I e-mailed a few…
Oh my gosh, I laughed so hard, I think I jostled loose an internal organ! Oh well, seems to be something non-essential! 😁😁😁😁 💍💍💍😇😇😇
Oooh, I love aquas!! Just got one for my bday and thought the same thing as I switched it to my right hand :) “ this would be an amazing engagement ring!” And an aqua eternity band with it would be so unique and special.
Hey, if it makes you happy, more power to ya. Especially since you clearly don’t judge your husband by something gross. Good on him for buying you something he knew you would love. <3
You had to sell them? Like, gun to the head had to? I would’ve quit, I can’t imagine feeling very good about myself, being part of that mess.
That is exactly what I have always thought they look like, but thought smoky topaz. When aquamarines became hard to find back in the ‘80s, someone told me to look at blue topaz (December birthstone, mine is the March aqua) and there were so many pretty topaz stones.
I only hate yours, in a delightful twist of fate.
I wondered about that “flavor” bit. Did he mean it’s basically a ring pop? Suck on it all day, yummy? #confusing !! Lol.
Absolutely fascinating. I had stumbled across a discussion someplace off-line about “chocolate diamonds”, which I have always found ridiculous, since they look like smoky topaz or something else non-diamondy, and went looking for more info. Ended up here. Feeling very smart now, thank you! I have said no thanks to…
Diamonds are, I have found, something people who want to seem rich or “more loved” (which really is in response to the marketing) are snobs about. My Dad proposed to my Mother with a really beautiful, classic, timeless ring 50 years ago. Over one carat, round, perfect. Go look at a CZ discussion anywhere, people are…
You’re a nicer person than I, I figure anyone who spends a bunch of money on anything without doing some research doesn’t deserve much pity. But I seem constantly surrounded by people who spend more just for a “brand” name, even though it’s the same look and quality as something generic-y. You know, like nutty Real…
They do sell fun costume jewelry. I can’t imagine buying a diamond without looking at it, trying it on (and out from under the lighting in jewelry stores) But I have a very sweet aquamarine ring from Amazon - well, sold through Amazon, probably from some place in Asia. The descriptions of the Asian costume jewelry is…
