That’s part of the problem. Scalpers and miners drove the market price up.
Who wants to tell this man that the market is the one to set prices, not him...
Sure Moore’s Law is dead. Does that mean that it’s impossible to engineer a better card that costs the same as the previous generation did a couple of years ago? Hell no it doesn’t.
Seconded - I don’t even have a horse in this race since I’m still using a 1070 and quite frankly I don’t need anything more powerful than that. I’m just tired of corporations screwing over consumers with relative impunity, and I hope this comes back and bites Nvidia in the ass.
Out of fear of trans fats, I haven’t had a donut in years (and it makes me sad to realize this) because I don’t know if local donut shops still fry their dough in partially hydrogenated soybean oil, and I’m honestly too afraid to ask.
Universal solution: Add water/mil/sugar to your coffee.
Warning: American coffee tastes worse than any other coffee you could get around the world.
I’m so glad to know I’m not the only one who factors in noise levels when choosing a restaurant. I can think of several I’ve stopped frequenting, even though I miss the food, simply because I find going intolerable anymore. Even the majority of fast casual places seem to play music for the enjoyment of the staff with…
My dad slowly lost his hearing, ultimately getting a Cochlear Implant about 15 years ago. Something like this will be a godsend, as we’ve actually walked out of restaurants before sitting down due to the ridiculous noise levels. The technology has drastically improved since he got it, and it’s able to better filter…
Which would be awesome 10 years ago before we bought all those games 3 times.
I’m sure women can probably fuck things up like us if we just give them the opportunity. Women can do anything.
counter-point: this is the “games as a service” mentality. they could just leave the old application untouched for iphone 5's and release a new app for the newer phones. after all, i can still play my old steam games released 15 years ago... and their sequels, released last year.
And how exactly can one determine wether a developer might update their app in the future?
The example is stupid. You’re replacing one bad addiction with another. Please show convincing example of actually replacing a bad habit with good.
Sugar substituting for wine....I am happy it all worked out, but what about sugar/carb cravings?
They need to patch ios10 as well. I bought all those 32-bit apps. I should be allowed to use them without risking security.
Apple really really needs to make a patch for OSX 10.12.x, Sierra. And they leave enough machines abandoned from running the very latest, that it would be nice of them, with their near limitless resources and cash, to support those of us who can’t/won’t be on the latest OS.
I second this.
So it’s a couple of generations behind and have a really expensive sticker?
