This isn’t 2008 when you were driving a 17mpg SUV instead of a 24mpg car... you’re driving a 25mpg crossover instead of a 28mpg car,

This strikes me as a choice that Ford may find regrettable when gas prices climb back up. But I’d assume that Ford has put much more thought into this decision than I have.

Don’t forget about Art. When you lease a Cadillac its for “art and science”

1. The problem is consumers are suckers. They watched the kayak commercial and raced out and bought adventure vehicles that seat seven to haul their tubby asses to work. They listened to the booming voices of uber men telling them that they can overcome their desk job bodies and masculinity issues by driving a giant

2nd gear: Scott Pruitt is a walking, talking rectum. That is all.

I drove for uber for exactly enough rides to take a venture capitalists bonus. Then promptly stopped when I was not able to pull in at least $20/hr. During non-surge periods and without a bonus, you routinely get about $10/hr or less then have to subtract gas, wear and tear, etc. NOT WORTH IT ONE BIT.

This is the right answer, I think. The new TSI engines have been delightful, if you ask me (I am either closely related/directly own 4 relatively new ones, a 2011 2.0T, a 2012 2.0T, a 2015 1.8T, and a 2016 1.8T). The 1.8's have had absolutely no issues and have been great on fuel economy on the highway if you baby

Even then, if you can get a stripper jetta for $12-13k, that may be the best new car deal on the market (along with a stripper flex for $24,500).

That doesn't sound like anyone got ripped off.

I have a 2007 Q7. Top of the line...just a beautiful rig. However, we are now on the 4th instance of sunroof drain failure since 2011, extending well back into our factory warranty period. Most recently, in May of 2014, I had the drains replaced out of pocket following a Technical Service Bulletin on the issue. Now,

End. Of. Discussion.

That's a pretty great little collection!

Congrats...great color!

My diesel Golf gets 50 and rolls coal. ;)

Well, if I wanted to spend my life as an auto mechanic and buy a garage full of tools I might enjoy that. But even then you generally can't diagnose problems without disassembling things more than you would be able to before you own it.

"The car as it sits is worth at least 2.5x what I have into it."

Woohoo, I'll take the redhead. Lol

Uh, yup. Isn't it amazing to watch a heteronormative culture satirize itself without even knowing it?
