Have to say before I even read the recap -
The prop master here boasted a kvas wagon - and they delivered!
But - wrong season!!!
It is a summer hot weather drink. Nobody ever sold kvas in winter. Or late fall, with frost/patches of snow on the ground.
Why would they do that?
