I totally agree with you on the “overreaction” part and why E. does it. I also agree that Paige should have known better than going full “Van Damme” but I found E.’s reaction to be too harsh. is all. You make good points there.

Agree. Still think that her slapping a few guys around in a bar for 10 seconds for putting their grabby hands where they don’t belong is just “normal” college bar scene stuff. So she knows some moves, she learned from a self-defense VHS tape. I think E. is so on edge now that she overreacts to any stimuli outside of

You are right about the police thing, but in this case, she didn’t kill or even seriously injure anyone, and I cannot imagine either of those boys would press charges for some girl kicking their ass, but I am no expert either.

Also Paige is being groomed not as a “spy” in the old kind of sense, she is supposed to become a Julie from State...

Valid point. Although, in the field, Paige wears a disguise, so theoretically, she would look different from real Paige. Julie looks different. But I see your point, fair enough.

Idk if someone mentioned this already, or found odd. Why did E become so agitated and upset with Paige having kicked some drunken frat asses at a bar? What, a college age girl in 1987 couldn’t possibly know some self-defense moves? She didn’t shapeshift or anything or turn into Wonder Woman in a cape... Paige, you

I am Ukrainian and we say “oi” and it means either an expression of surprise or pain (like saying “ouch”)

Oh the exchange was clear for the most part, and I guess I am just nitpicking :)

It is not that important plot-wise, just an observation.

IIRC, she had only one parent - mother. Her father perished in the vortex of war + gulags I cant exactly remember. So - no, I don’t think they had any thing resembling “beef” to make something that Liz would reminisce about so many years later in the US.

Also, BTW, I really doubt that Liz’s family was able to cook batches of “zharkoye” when she was growing up. Potatoes they had. But beef ? I don’t think so. This is actually a very bougie dish and requires good chunks of beef, lots of potatoes, carrots, spices, mmm, no. I don’t think Liz’s and especially Phil’s family

Of course! I know what you are saying! I am Ukrainian and my mom half-Polish (Z0sia). I see now that is so right what you are saying, with a gendered language like Polish, Ukrainian, Russian, of course the translator would immediately realize Kasia was referring to a woman as “tall and dark” adjectives would have to

Speaking of that stew aka “zharkoye”

Why does Eve keep calling the Russian’s girlfriend “Kasha” (buckwheat, etc.) ??? Her name is Polish Kasia, “kasja” ? weird

How she (the actress) pretends to understand Russian is... well... not compelling

I kno! even DA is so heavy accent! Ut’s like Dza ...

I was like - nooo - don’t “speak” Russian, you are so Not good at it

I think it was more like spitting in their food figuratively and not really expected to do them any harm...

    read the post right above

according to the their statements, Gimple was “elevated” to Chief Content Officer to be in charge of the entire “TWD” universe so there’s that...
