I can definitely see that. I like how it flipped my expectations, but seeing a slower, more determined end would have been great as well, and then he might not be afraid to do a D10 by making it his "Aliens" and have marines getting blown to hell by Chris and his pals.

It was more like a District 5 to you?

Oh I'd EMP the world and watch them all go ape shit. It would be hilarious until I realized I'm missing Hannibal.

God I hope so, then I can have Doc Cochran yell at me under his breath for hours on end on why I need to stop going to Swearengen's. I'll never stop. Ever.

Then by God, you take her back!

I could only do this if the loop was more like a week, and I wasn't stuck in a specific spot. That is PERFECT. Eventually you could learn how to assassinate all the world leaders, bang every celebrity… yes ALL OF THEM. Join whatever sports team you wanted, etc. I should never be given this power.

Sit back, watch the sunset with a nuka cola in your hand…alright alright alright.

Deadwood. A never ending Deadwood.

This was all the review I needed.

Ah, I should have read all the comments first. Definitely should just be called "Ripley".

And because things can always get creepier (yes, even after Gary Busey), this was my first experience with a sex scene in a movie. And yes, I thought they were all suppose to end in bloodshed. Lesson learned.

Yep, love 3. Loved the prison, all the actors were grimy, great, and a third word that starts with gr.
I loved this group of outcasts coming together with the best plan possible to end save their lives with the little resources they had. It was fun.
Never had a problem with the ending either.

Affirmative!

For some reason I remember it as they knew what was on the planet, I can't say why I remember it that way, but I do. And now that I've been completely helpful to this discussion… I'm off!

If they are doing this, and considering it the ending that Ripley deserves, then just name the movie "Ripley".

So living the ultimate retirement in other words? I now feel I can dare to dream…

I kind of said this first bit above, but I really think Jupiter was the start of a bigger saga. The same could be said about New Hope with, what happened to Vader?
So unfortunately, I think a lot of the criticisms will hold on JA, because we may never see the rest of this story.

I think I get what you are saying and agree. Jupiter Ascending definitely seemed like a starting point. (Besides the obvious title) I'm a bit bummed it didn't do better because I know they have another one or two cooking to complete the story.

Glad someone posted this. I thought I heard them wrong because Alfred's response was pretty nonsensical.

I must have really blocked some of last week's episode out. I don't remember any of this Butch stuff… (Sadly, I'm being serious.)
