I’ve noticed that on Google maps, even beating driving in some cases. I think I’m just going to do a monthly Indego pass because I’ve heard it’s extensive enough in Center City/bike theft is a significant problem. I just haven’t ridden in a while, so hopefully I won’t annoy too many drivers.

I just had orientation for my grad program in Philly last weekend and everyone was fretting over that who commuted in to Center City. But at least they didn’t have to take the NJ turnpike... And the GW bridge... And all the other tolls. ;)

To be honest, I was just thinking about how screwed up this is, but how much worse it could have been with guns. And I was relieved to know how little these attacks occur Japan and how the last was 8... Which is of course, also terrible, but not like here.

Also a DSP here. I think the thing I learned from it was how vastly different skills can be for those with intellectual disabilities. One man I work with is barely verbal and he has better empathy skills than most people. And another who’s amazing with directions but acts like a middle schooler when it comes to…
