IDK. I went to Dick’s Sporting Goods & bought a set of Dunlop clubs for something like $250. The junior membership at the course was $150 or so, & the full rate was around $600. If you’re just looking to play, I expect that Golf is no more expensive than membership at a decent gym + gear. I can understand that living

Most golf courses aren’t ritz, exclusive country clubs. I used to play the town course at $18 a round, & the course just over the mountain for something like $30. Fun fact: the golf course is in decline, in even step with the middle class.
