Reminder: the non-wagon Panamera has this awesome wing
It’s at least nice to think that the Chevy trucks of the time are now at the point where the song is finally relevant to them
The only thing that’s automatic about this car is that it’s automatically better than any new Ferrari, Lamborghini, McLaren, or Koeneggmansorypagani that can’t be had with one of these. At least to those of us who care more about driving than how many people are pointing their iPhones at us.
Exactly, you can’t compete with Tesla on price/performance without cannibalizing some Panamera sales. Will be interesting to see how this plays out.
Great question. That was mine too. I don’t really seeing Porsche offering 600+ hp on a base model. That kills a lot of their existing ICE models which are probably more profitable for them.
Good move Porsche.
It’s his own fault. If he lived in the US, he wouldn’t have had health insurance so he couldn’t have had surgery. Problem solved.
Narrow-body 911s have now just jumped 1000% in value. In 2025, Porsche will make a special edition run of narrow-body 911 Carreras, limited to 356 produced, sold out before the public announcement even hit the blogs.
If you’re worried about depreciation, get a 911. Otherwise, just enjoy the ride - because all performance-oriented vehicles suffer.
Ok, so I will adjust it accordingly to $33,750 then.
So, now the question is if it depreciates like the Ghibli, can I pick one up for under $30,000 5 years from now?
A single gay male living in southern California with an affinity for small, revvy, manual sportscars. The universe just keeps telling me to buy one.
Not sure “gorgeous” is the proper word to use here...
This is exciting for Infiniti, its one of the first times they have been mentioned in the same post as Porsche outside of “auto brands” and “brands partnered with BOSE”.
991.1 Targa. Decent PDK examples can be found for around $80k. And there are LATCH anchors in the back seats, so it can technically fit 2 car seats.
(Full disclosure: Maserati wanted me to drive the Quattroporte, the Ghibli and the Levante so badly that it flew me to the northern Italian Alps, paid for my hotel and all of my food and alcohol. Ironically, I didn’t get to drive all that much.)
Alfa Romeo is a very reliable love seat and two armchairs on a side of the road. I don’t know that you can compare that to a car that runs and drives
Toyota? Honda? No no, the question is if are they are more, or less reliable than an Alfa Romeo. That is the benchmark.
