$175K, holy smokes. I’d rather just get a 911 GTS, and a Honda CRV for when I have to take people places. Or maybe just say fuck it, and get CPO McLaren 570S or Huracan, and everyone who needs to ride with me can Uber.

Very good points regarding S. In a few years when it’s time to upgrade from my Audi I’m seriously considering a CPO 992, and it would most likely be a Base (I’m guessing no 992 T available at that point). Primarily due to cost, but hearing your argument, and what people have said on Rennlist about how the new turbo…
That’s pretty solid, especially if it’s not a bare bones spec. Personally though if I had a choice, I’d get the the S over the T. I know people rave about the T, but I’d be using it mostly as a DD so I appreciate real door handles and real glass rear windows, since 95% of the time I’m stuck in LA traffic. Completely…
This may be true in some parts of the country, but it’s definifely not true in LA/SF. I bought my house 2.5 years ago and it already went up in value 25%. There was not 25% worth of inflation over the last two and a half years.
I want to throw up.
I read a few reviews that said the interior can feel almost claustrophobic in a Cayman. Did you get that impression?
Sapphire Blue Metallic is a gorgeous color and I whole heartedly agree.
911 is only choice if you have kids. If they’re under 5 feet they’ll actually fit back there OK too.
That’s the definitely the way I’d go. Two year old CPO 991.2 Carrera S is about 100K.
Toyota Warranty is 3 years, 36K miles for bumper to bumper. BMW is 4 years, 50K miles, so BMW is better in bumper to bumper coverage. Although Toyota does offer a power train only 5 year, 60K warranty so if you’re worried about the Bimmer engine self destructing that’s definitely a plus.
Except almost the whole car is BMW including the engine, so reliability and running costs definitely won’t be the same as your typical V6 Camry.
I agree the Q7 looks pretty decent in real life. It’s got a big ass but looks classy. I also agree they screwed up the A7. It went from being one of the nicest looking sedans to just being completely mediocre.
I always wondered why the Q7 had such a long hood. We rented one on Turo and just for fun I tried parking it in my garage. Almost didn’t fit, sucker is 200” long.
Not gonna lie, I used to be in love with the idea of getting a big and fast luxury sedan. But then I learned, tech gets old. It’s great for the first 6 months but I don’t even use the digital dash in my A4 anymore. And all that tech breaks eventually and causes massive depreciation. What matters the most is how the…
Just remove the seats, steering wheel, carpet, use race gas, drag tires, oh and also replace entire car with a McLaren Senna.
I agree that they’re pretty hardcore conservative. They barely started adding turbos to a few cars in their lineup. They’ve used the same naturally aspirated 3.5L 6 cyclinder in their Toyota and Lexus models for like two straight decades. Their power train R&D budget is like $1.25. They survive by releasing a new…
Very interesting that the Demon supposedly has a 9.65 quarter mile, but still lost to the M5. Can anyone explain that to me? And it has 840 horsepower? Pretty sad if you ask me, must have literally the worst chassis (lol American muscle cars) in the world if it has all that HP and loses to a German family sedan.
Well if you’re stuck a Cadillac, maybe you don’t want to find that big red emergency release right beneath the door? I bet in heaven they only drive Maybachs and Phantoms...
Lol. I think I got owned by auto-correct. Or at least that sounds like a good excuse in my head.
Porsche Taycan is also being developed specifically to lap the Nürburgring, has a 300 mile range, also 800v charging capability, and a 3.5s 0-60. So why would I want a Riptide? So it can be in the repair shop all day?
