For all you know those people eating brunch donated time and money to racial equality groups and might just want a meal in peace. Assuming they are some kind of counter-revolutionaries is about as appropriate as a white person wandering into a black church and accosting people after being mugged.

But why commandeer a Forever 21 to do it? It’s not as though Forever 21 has a horrible record of race relations (that I know of). This is like protesting lunch counter segregation by going into a hardware store and putting up signs.

“Reclaimed” is fairly loaded language. I had no idea that the protestors originally owned this piece of storefront.

“Don’t worry friend, I see some signs of early skin damage coming on. Pretty soon you’ll get a break when they start chasing fresher faced women and WON’T THAT BE GREAT.”

Jeez that’s awful.

A jury assessed a defendant as being more credible than the cop accusing him. Woe is America.

Whereas murdering infants is allowed in Mormonism...

So the Isle fans are a bear in this analogy, and you’re conceding that they’re animals.

I hear this argument regularly and to me it says Canadians don’t travel enough to realize what other places are like.

How is “a life a life”? Are a mosquito and human life both equally valuable? A cat and a human?

Veterinarians do not take a “do no harm” oath.

If it was better for the family but also fun does that make a difference?

You’re going to beat up on someone for something they did when they were 14? Most respectable media outlets don’t even write news about minors for the same reason that most respectable countries don’t charge them with adult crimes — they are too young and ill-formed to have shit straight. So your point is that marriage was sanctified before monogamy was the norm? In what cultures? And who cares? Why did you even respond to my point about sacraments to make a totally unrelated point about "sanctity"?

I used the word "sacrament" to mean sacrament, a Christian rite. You used the word "sacrament" to mean "sanctity," something different. Because you evidently didn't understand what was being said, your point was non-responsive.

I like this righteous beat-down. It’s so annoying to try to politely deal with intransigent people only to be met with more intransigence, so I’m glad to hear you won.

You sound like a crybaby. Isn’t there lots of outback you could go live in?

Most cities have noise bylaws that allow a great deal of noise before later than 7:45pm (usually 11 pm).

You were not in the wrong. Kids are going to play with toy trucks, people are going to move furniture. You can either pay extra money for a unit with better sound insulation or move to a detached home in Queens.

I used the word "sacrament" on purpose (in my post to which you were replying ). The word is not a synonym for "sanctity." If you want to have a discussion with someone it helps to be somewhat precise in your language.
