Who gives a fuck?
Who gives a fuck?
Classic self-hater, eh.
Men in Canada are equally able to take leave after childbirth/adoption, so your theory falls flat.
In Canada you get an automatic year off and no incentive to stick around. You're allowed to take the year and quit instead of returning at year's end.
You're going to hate on a Trini for cultural appropriation? That place is a super melting pot — seems like sticking to your "own" culture is hard to avoid.
"Most prostitutes are victims." Says who? The ones suing the Canadian federal government for the right to work don't seem like victims to me.
Your husband is not a millennial, nor are you. (Though you're on the cusp).
Half-formed statements like "I'm done," and "Just...fuck" in place of something more substantial are one reason you should be embarrassed to be a millennial.
Exaggerating their statements just undermines the credibility of the critic. What he's said is enough to make him look like an asshole without stretching the truth so it looks like he's about to use literal rape as a weapon.
"You're going to be sorry" isn't necessarily a threat. It could mean "the consequences of your action, independent of my intervention, will make you sorry."
I think if you give him benefit of the doubt he was saying metaphorically "oh you're going to get reamed" the way a 14-year-old boy does to his friends playing video games, or "the Cowboys raped the Bills last week" or something like that. It trivializes rape but for me it doesn't seem like he's threatening rape.
Toyota Tundras are built in Texas.
I don't know what the evidence is. But confessions have been made under duress and proven false (cf. Central Park Five). Anyway I'm just saying a guilty verdict should precede punishment, which I don't think should be a controversial statement.
Yeah, I was just saying that siccing "flaming gays" on straight men as a way of teaching them empathy has its shortcomings. No need to be smug Internet person at me.
The legal system is in place to verify that he even actually did it. At this point the accusations are unproven accusations. We have the legal system so we don't accidentally put innocent people's nuts in vice grips / lynch innocents etc.
30 feet is within earshot. If the person had actually approached the car they would probably be able to hear the fleshy sounds.
Not to defend street harassment, but as a straight guy I can say it does not bother me to have a gay man catcall me. But it doesn't happen very often.
Yeah, the second response would have been pretty on point. First one not awful, though.
You'd call the cops on an unattended nine-year-old? My nine-year-old self played outside for hours on end unsupervised.
Whatever your job, you're advocating "too big to fail."
