I agree with the first part of your comment but if they did do that they would be committing a felony. I don't think they'd commit a felony to drum up hype.

I refuse to indulge in any more vapid media, outside of Gawker that is.

Actually yes. Make of that what you will.

I decided to just give up on Ubisoft since I won't buy a fucking console and uPlay crashes on every system I own regardless of the hardware and OS. I was elated when the Stick of Truth came out sans uPlay but there have been a few titles I'll just never play because of it.

For some time now I've been hoping Blizzard would make a new IP and in a new genre.

They really haven't been paying attention...

A S.W.A.T. response has a much higher chance of escalating any situation, and a much higher chance of being an overreaction, both of those increase the likelihood someone is going to die.

Who said I hate cops? My mother was a property officer. I work with law enforcement on a nearly daily basis. There are right ways and wrong ways to handle police response. This is an example of the wrong way.

Why does it always have to be a fucking shooter?

Then we'll just have to disagree because I've yet to be presented a sound argument that shows without a doubt that legal justice isn't skewed in favor of those with power (wealth).

You know, when a small business goes under because they can't compete with a retailer like Walmart, most people just shrug and say, "that's how a free market works". The problem is "the free market" is the only game in town. It's nearly impossible to escape from this reality, the majority of people living and being

This isn't a painting or a song it's an advertisement. Marvel isn't out anything. Does that make it okay? That's debatable. But there's a huge difference between a trailer for a movie and the movie itself.

It's not that they went after the guy, it's that they used the law to force a third party to become involved. They should have handled this internally and never brought the law into it.

They still should have handled this internally. Things like this are a waste of the court's time.

I'm not even standing up for the leaker, I didn't even know about the leak before I saw this article. Agents of Shield was so disappointing during its first season I gave up on it. I was excited about Age of Ultron but this has left a bitter taste in my mouth.

Well they didn't lose money, and no I object because they used the law to force Google to settle what should be an internal matter.

That's it exactly though, an NDA. This isn't theft, this is a breach of trust. I object to the idea that Marvel can leverage a company like Google under the premise that this is theft. It's not.

It's a trailer, for a movie.

I never said he was, and you're stretching if you think that's an argument that can be defended. He did not essentially steal anything other than a trailer. He stole an advertisement. They are not going to lose any money from its leak. IF anything it just gives them more free advertising.

Lol, yeah but they don't have to play.
