I could be wrong but this seems like it's cultural, and that's Microsoft's problem. If any console on the market seems like it's made specifically for a western audience that's the Xbox.

Where do you think I got my sarcastic sensibilities? ;) But yes I agree, and addressed this elsewhere. I wasn't initially opening a dialogue because David's original comment seemed like more of the same. If you can bring up my other comments I've explained why.
That's my thinking, but also the fact that this hinges on the fact that our infrastructure is horrible. When we stop burning carbon for our energy needs...
However if we switched to renewable sources of energy and stopped burning carbon...
I agree with regards to specific examples like Portal 2. However same could be said for Bioshock Infinite, the Skyhook mechanic isn't all that revolutionary and the core mechanics are still the same. The improvements from Borderlands to Borderlands 2 was reflected in their improved looting systems and better writing.
See further down in the thread. I've opened up a civil dialogue with David. He hasn't had a chance to reply but my reply is there.

If I get to wear that bad ass suit, definitely.
That's assuming there's a significant amount of people who would pay if they couldn't pirate. In fact it's just as reasonable to assume that those people who pirate would just not play the game, and only invest money into what they're already spending money on.
I'm glad one of us does. ;)
I want new experiences too, but do you think it's "sequals" that are the real problem or the lack of risk taking in general? I'd argue that CoD is a prime example of how not to do it. Where as Borderlands 2 would be a good example of how to get it right.
It looks more like he's pissing fire. Man STDs in fantasy worlds must be scary.
Those mole rats have mothers you know.
Well thanks, now I really want to grab a scotch and hunker down next to the fireplace with the newest issue of Playboy . Because damn those "articles" about the heroes and villains of GoT would be amazing.
Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep deserves more than the passing glance DLC seems to get. That expansion / mission / story was absolutely amazing. Not sarcasm, genuinely, I believe it should be held up as example of how video games can work humor and drama into their narratives.
All of the bugs and horrible game play killed Saints Row for me.
I agree that Lucas mucked this up but it was never stated that the Force can only be passed on through sex (an STD) or more accurately by breeding and heredity.
See the rest of the conversation.
Fair enough. And I realize that my original comment came across as an attack. It wasn't. It was flippant, but the reason for that is it's hard to separate the post you made from the usual noise that comes from the trolls club. I'm all for having an actual dialogue. Even if I have to take a deep breath every time I go…
