Are they really the "Safest" airline in the world? Have they gone the longest without a crash for example?

The Nexrad radar in the Pilatus I used to fly was a huge improvement over the old Bendix units with the manual adjustments. Flying in weather is not such a dicey issue anymore.

It varies by aircraft, but typically: 1) Master Warn light illuminates, 2) aural alert plays ("AUTOPILOT AUTOPILOT"), 3) other warnings/cautions erupt on head-down displays out of the primary field of view (assuming that HUD is stowed, since they were in cruise).
