I was waiting for him to lift his mic and beat her upside the head. His arms twitched a couple of times.

It Follows (and grabs you by the pussy)

Which single issue do you think people are rejecting Pence for? Homophobia? Misogyny? Economic incompetence? Subversion of the separation of church and state? Consistent opposition to green energy? Opposition to any form of gun control? Opposition to health care reform? Xenophobic anti-immigrant views? Strong

Maybe because his most prominent single issue say “lol fuck you. Discrimination should be legal” to about 5 percent of the population.

It’s not a single issue, it’s merely the most prominent one that comes to many people’s minds. Pence is bad on nearly all civil rights, but also on the economy. Pence managed to start an AIDS epidemic in his own state because he hates women so much and also wants to cut taxes for his buddies. Jez commenters will

As others have said before me...he should be forced to carry this unviable campaign to term. His (political) life is in danger? Too bad, so sad. That precious, precious presidential campaign is alive (even if hideously deformed and its death is both inevitable and painful for those that love it). It would be murder

Sorry Pence, this campaign is in it’s 14th month. Too late to abort now.

If he is considering running for president in 2020, he is killing his chances by sticking around. But as a super lib, I’m fine with him ruining his chances.

But the lady who sent her kids o the park while she went to a job interview?

That one’s definitely going to prison.

Yeah. If she had really concentrated she could have used her Jedi powers to get the gun to fly out of his hands into hers and that way it would have been self defence. Clearly she didn’t think this through/ use her telekinesis abilities to full effect.

There’s actually some really interesting and gruesome feminist legal theory about self-defense laws. Basically it boils down to: self defense laws are made for someone defending themselves in a fight to the death that’s moving quickly and happening right at the time of the death or injury. Women’s violence, and the

This. I called the cops on my father several times, and nothing ever came of it. The last time I called he lied to them as usual and the threatned to kill me and my mother if I ever tried it again. I actively plotted killing him until I finally moved out for college.

There was a woman (in Florida) who shot into the air to try and scare her abusive husband out of her parents house, which he had broken into and she got 20 years. Stand your ground really is just for white men.

“Why would she be tried as an adult, though?”

One of the kids on my caseload is a 15 year old guy who (now that he’s in residential and in a safe, clean environment) looks and acts like an adorable, high spirited little nerd. He actually looks younger than 15, except for the fact that his hair has already started to turn white from the constant stress of living

And the man who killed his child whose mother gets more prison time for child endangerment.

I think we all know why.

Can someone please explain to me why many states are totally cool with Stand Your Ground laws/using deadly force to “prevent death or great bodily harm” but this little girl faces life in prison for shooting someone who repeatedly threatened to kill his entire family with that very gun?
