Tracy Flick is not the villain of Election, she is only the villain to Matthew Broderick’s character, who is very clearly the one who is in the wrong and is thoroughly punished for his misdeeds. This is not some secret, subtextual reading - it is the explicit plot of the film. Flick wins, Broderick loses, justice is

This sounds like a thoughtful, important show that I think I would be completely unable to watch.

That’s exactly how I intended it. Thank you.

Hard disagree. I love Maya (even better together, Super Showcase Spokesmodels is legendary) but Wiig is unmatched in creativity and range, with the exception of Bill Hader.

Yah, I thought this was pretty obvious but seems to be overlooked by lots.

If you looked closely, you could see that she was strapped down to that chair.

Also, from the flashback (AND the handholding as Moldaver died) it was clear that Rose and Moldaver were lovers. She wasn’t brought there to torment Hank.

Yeah, there’s going to be some other swerve, no doubt about it.  Trailer looked kind of fun, though, so color me interested.

Too bad for you. It’s a great podcast with amazing hosts.

your incuriosity is so incisive and charming!

Perfect. Don’t let the door hit ya where the good lord split ya!

Your loss, Tartuffe.

Look! It's the person who's right about everything!

This is one of my favorite podcasts and the OJ episodes are really good.

Then don’t listen to it. No one is forcing you to. That said, it is one of the most excellent podcasts out there.

Season 6 from 2009 is on Netflix and it’s interesting to see how far Top Chef and cooking has changed over the years. Most of the chefs are dude bros and the women are trying to be dude bros too to fit in. The majority of the judges were white men, it took 6 episodes to even have a female judge. They weren’t very open
