I can’t even recall a scene from it aside from a sort of decent opening.

Well said!

Nobody does the unfair expectations of teenage girls to be both children and women at the same time quite as well as Sofia, so I’m sure she’ll give some nuance to the inappropriateness of the age difference. But idk, it’ll be a tricky line to dance between not condoning it and respecting that this is ultimately

one of their dogs cum in the others dog on a first bad date. they watch as the dogs nut. and then the woman dog is pregnant and so they decide to have the dogs stay together, which forces them together.

The world felt oddly empty last season, but that may have been due to covid.

Neve Campbell was the only time this show felt like it had some life, I bounced midway through season 2.

a comment like this is on pretty much any post which uses the term.

odd take

that’s fair, although I did bring my subscription back from the dead when I heard about The Bear, but the idea of it mostly being used as something to stream the same thing again and again makes sense!

idk, they don’t seem to be very great at guessing what will be a massive hit and what will flop until it’s released.

I thought it would be funny if she dumped a body out of the trunk of her limousine, and suddenly she’s a character in The Flight Attendant and we enter season 3 of that show.

I feel Snapchat is when ur being a lil naughty or careless, instagram when ur making plans or need to send something a little more serious.

yes, it’s pretty much a talking point on lots of the more popular pop culture podcasts.

the scene of them all eating off the little tiny spoons was absolutely bonkers. It felt like the actors were given zero script except to make “mmmm” sounds and had Anthony say “get a room”.

I say just keep Seema, who actually had a compelling storyline and I think whose flaws as a character were relatable to anyone that feels so anchored to their independence (although she deserves a better love than that man always on his phone).

yes, lots of Gerwig’s DNA in Barbie. I have no idea who made Mario, which was fine, but for such an imaginative game I wish it did more.

I think she is the most relatable at this point. but I also think what Miranda is going through is relatable for folks who realize they are Queer later in life, and I feel the dynamic between her and Che models a lot of first Queer romances.

yeah, the last 20 minutes were not super effective, but I liked the final shot a lot. I think they could have ditched the whole dad bait and switch scene.

I don’t think it really does much to the career of the people we typically think of as cancelled (someone like Gina Carano for example had lots of opportunity to stop being transphobic, someone in any workplace would be fired similarly, it just happens publicly).

I weirdly didn’t mind the off tourist season vampire storyline, it had some fun ideas. alien one was brutal.
