haha so true! i used to have a scooter which made getting around so much easier, but since that’s gone I really try to avoid driving anywhere at all costs! stay safe this weekend with all the nuts-o 4th of july weekend tourists out in full foce in those awful little two-seater go cart type vehicles. god i hate those…

it’s a really beautiful place to live - I can’t complain!! The Folk Fest is lots of fun - brings lots of fun people to town. You should check it out on a mellower weekend if you have a chance. Less traffic ;)

exactly! I live in Newport and it’s funny how people totally get the wrong idea... There are definitely parallels between Montauk and Newport in terms of the types of crowds we get in the summer time and what it’s actually like in the “off” season.
