So, does Diaz also have the media in his pocket too? Is that why nobody questioned why this known criminal was allowed to just waltz in on this very high profile trial?

This was a pretty good episode - I enjoyed it more than I’ve enjoyed an episode of Arrow in a while, even with that annoying love-to-hate opposing counsel.
Oh definitely! I get him wanting to do it, I just wish they’d gone about it in a different way. More like, “You remind me of my daughter, you’re in trouble, let me help you” and less, “What’s the story morning glory? I used to say that to you when you were a little girl, you know? The other you.” As the woman who is…
Yeah, I get that. I just wish it had been done without the creepiness. It would’ve been nice if Quentin and OtherLaurel had reached that place without Quentin kidnapping her or showing her pictures of himself and his Laurel to convince this one to go good. The Arrowverse has shown that doppelgängers are similar but…
She leased it with Malcolm’s money!
I’m glad you’re enjoying it!
Our most hated things are reversed! Malcolm used to be the winner, but despite how pretzel-y the plot got to accommodate or how stupid they made Oliver to keep him around, he never made me feel this level of rage (although I’m not quite sure why).
The fact that people keep apologizing to Rene, Dinah and Curtis actually infuriates me. It makes me angrier than any other idiotic thing this show has done over the course of the past 6 seasons, and it’s done a lot of idiotic stuff. Why is Diggle so cool with them messing with his implant? Why does he care at all…
Yeah, glad I missed that one!
It’s him whispering “Gonna kill you” over and over. There’s at least another one that I didn’t listen to because the first one creeped me out so much.
New Team Arrow/Not Team Arrow - the unholy trinity of Dinah, Rene and Curtis.
It baffles me, because a vast majority of commentary I’ve seen about this idiotic rift seems to be in favor of Oliver, Felicity and Diggle - not the newbies. They’ve had time to course correct with the characters for at least a few episodes now, and the fact that they haven’t done that does make me think that no one…
Let him do it, I guess? That seems to be the general stance the show is taking for some inexplicable reason. This whole conflict and the way they’ve written it is completely bananas.
Her cry impaled a guy with a table leg most likely killing him but she has to look away when Diaz punches a guy on the floor, really??
This episode was terrible. This villain is terrible.
I guess maybe he had some sort of shield of sorts against his skin? IDK
Just don’t think about it too hard, and it might be best to kind of stand back and squint.
I get her running to the police station in this instance - she’d just Parent Trapped Diggle earlier that day, so the time that she’d have to spend convincing him that this call wasn’t another attempt at getting him to come back to the team (because even though I know he’d run to get Oliver most of the time, I would…
He had an objection to Oliver spying on the newbies when he got word one of them was going to testify that he was the Green Arrow. He thought they should just confront them, but Oliver wasn’t convinced that it was only one of them, or that they’d come clean about it. He asked Diggle if he had a better idea, and he…
I thought the Digg/Oliver stuff was well acted, but god, what an absolute mess of a storyline to pile on top of the other messes. I’ve been invested in Oliver for six years now and at least two or three times a season he makes me want to turn off the TV out of sheer frustration over his idiocy. But this year he’s at…
