Morrison's ARKHAM ASYLUM is as good an intro to Batman comics as mainlining heroin is an intro to drugs. Come on, guys, seriously? I'd even put off on Morrison's early Batman run until you're more familiar with the character.

I prefer them for their quarterly round-up of books/movies/comics/tv than their reviews. Their summer reading list filled up my Goodreads "to read" shelf with a ton of sci fi and fantasy I probably wouldn't have picked up otherwise.
