Agreed, Abraham's death came out of nowhere and was pretty good. I didn't expect any major character deaths until 100 so I wasn't expecting Abraham to go down, especially not like that.

As effective as I think this death was (I was shaking for a good minute after putting the book down) it was really the easiest way for Kirkman to go.

It basically only destroys his eye but misses his brain, he gets medical care and he lives.

I don't even know what would be good panels to go to this year that you either wouldn't be doing already or would have already missed.

why would it have to be R-Rated?

I would really really REALLY love a Thunderbolts film. Giving comic book movies' bad habit of killing of the villain at the end of the film (plus the fact that the credits list would immediately spoil the twist) it'd be impossible to adapt a version of the Busiek books, but I'd love to see the post-Dark Reign

Yeah but in Raimi's films he wasn't really brooding that much. He had fun being Spider-Man up until he had to fight a mass murderer and when he realized that in order to be the hero he had to push everyone away, and his best friend basically said he hated him.

Yeah but the issue with transferring Spider-Man to a moving image format is that while on the printed page he can say five sentences in the span of one punch, it's REALLY hard to convey that when he is moving in real-time.

There's actually a TON of angst in Spider-Man's history. HIS FUCKING UNCLE DIED BECAUSE OF HIM. HE KILLED HIS FIRST GIRLFRIEND. SOME OF HIS BEST FRIENDS ARE HIS SUPER VILLAINS.
