I always thought “south county” generally referred to orange county.. but yeah.. “south county” is pretty vague.. I refer to the southern part of my own county in california as “south county” and we’re about 600 miles from pismo.

Go back and read the lead. Or the lede if you’re fancy. It said “south county” which sounds like some alternate to “the tri-state area” (where’s Perry?) or some other generic place. Clearly copied from a local source without context. Oh well.

It’s a lot more than 8 miles north of SLO-the-city; is about 8 miles north of the San Luis Obispo County line, though.

Because I am a big ‘ol classical music snob, I will suggest that people who love scores should also check out the larger classical music genre, since scores are both A) most of the time part of the genre, and B) very largely influenced by classical music. If you like the former, you’ll probably like the latter as well!
