I don’t think soldering is the right way to do things in automotive modifications and repair. I make wiring repairs to vehicles every day and modify my own cars and my friends stuff outside of work and I literally have never soldered any connections on a car. I only use quality (not the plastic covered autozone ones)…
I too like to live dangerously.
This is almost old hat at this point for us old school TDI Club kids. The motor alone is worth $1200 min.

Because it looks eleventy million times better than that sad excuse for an A5 that got unveiled today...
There’s an article done a while ago about a Jalopnik reader who got ANUSTART tag for their vehicle.
If they're really stuck badly I'd loosen the lugs a bit then back up/pull forward once or twice to break the wheel free
This reeks of an “attempted” sale aimed at placating an upset wife, but where he doesn’t actually want to sell it. There’s no way he actually believes he’ll get $35k for this thing.

Up is “excuse me, Sir”
Full size work trucks. Its absurd how expensive trucks have gotten. Want a stripped out, bare bones, V8 4x4 F150? $32k. Who needs fancy leather in a work truck, and who wants to spend $32k on a work truck.
Man, that just reminded me of the inertia-actuated active-aero ironing board rear wing featured on Jalopnik back in 2008 (wth? I remember when that was first featured and it was 7 years ago?!)
I can’t wait to see one lowered and stanced!
I saw a BMW with its turn signal on once.
PT Cruiser Cabrio. You’re pain will give joy to all the little boys and girls this x-mas..
Because this is the right response.
I know it makes sense given the lack of muffler and all the talk but I didn’t truly believe reviews or reports until I heard one in person. Hype about movies let me down and I figured the same thing for this little beast. The only time I did see one I was at a light with my windows down when the distant BRAAAAAAP…
Gotta love the rabbit truck.
Jettas make better trucks.
