Taking a picture and reporting it to your superiors is one thing. Sharing the picture publicly is quite another.

Do You Really Care About U.S.-made Goods?

Really enjoyed your writing and narrative style. Thanks

I’ll admit to having skipped most of your writing. Not because I don’t think it’s worth my time; moreso that I want to agree that this is the garbage pile that is instagram in 2017.

I used to work in Haiti. It’s laughable how scared Americans are of going there compared to how dangerous it is. And the travel warnings make it even funnier.

Here’s the thing: if you’re going to experiment with the meta, do it in Normal queue. Don’t come into ranked and do it unless you’re going to communicate

This is very interesting because one of my extended family members was on the team at MSU at some point during this time period.

Neutral: From a car perspective, sure I agree they’re not very exciting. From the rest of their portfolio there have been both duds (new pathfinder) and sucesses (current frontier seems to be doing well). I’ve always viewed the value of Nissan in that they’re a great “blank page” if you will. They may not be exciting

Yes keep up with the random tidbits. My favorite article style.

Thank you Shane.

As far as I know, there aren’t any red light cameras, just speed cameras in Dayton.

Can’t speak with any certainty on that one. Certainly have never heard of such a law myself.

Unbearable third party implementer? Surely you jest? In all my years of utility work, there has never been an third party who thinks more highly of themselves than they should. /s

This has been a major fight in Ohio over the past couple of years. City of Dayton has been especially belligerent about defending their right to “enforce safety” on people this way. Definitely a warning to other states who might be flirting with similar arrangements and aren’t accounting for the risks of citizens

In a previous life of mine, I worked as an aid worker in Haiti. I’m fairly certain that legend said that in the aftermath of the 2010 Earthquake, Harrison loaded up a plane of people and supplies and set a course for Hinche, Haiti. Hinche is far enough outside Port-Au-Prince and had an airstrip that small airplanes

Perhaps I’m a dullard, but I can’t get Chevy’s website to give me the option to configure the Cruze (in either the 2016 or 2017) as a diesel engine. What gives?

I enjoyed this post a lot. Hopefully you find this a complement, but this deals with a side of car ownership more in line with the Mighty Car Mods vein and I very much appreciate it’s presence on Jalopnik.

That’s a good looking mx-5.

If anything, Jalopnik is full of people who pine for new cars, but buy the old car. Because we know these cars can last far longer than they do if they’ve just got the right amount of TLC.

So why aren’t they raising the gas tax? That couldn’t be a better mechanism to raise revenue? I don’t tend to beat the smaller government, less taxes drum, but stupid stuff like this pops up and dammit if I don’t want to bash some heads together.
