I generally want to know if somebody is recording data that I consider to be unique to my experience. So yes I would care alot if someone was recording my odometer reading without my express permission. I’d rip out the damn cellular device sending it to them if I knew where it was.

My lily white wife is terribly concerned that someone will think she’s acting weird by playing pokemon go. And ultimately her only risk in playing it is social embarrassment.

What happens when the cellular connected vehicle, equipped with camera’s for mirrors, modifies the image to cloak oncoming dangers in order to sabotage your ability to escape? I’m down for camera’s but keep your 4G connectivity away from my mode of transportation.

Sure does seem like the entire media establishment is out for Tesla’s head right now instead of questioning the culpability of the truck driver for cutting off the vehicle.

In all of this, I got to wonder: was the semi at fault? I mean literally not a single news story I’ve heard has even discussed whether the truck was at fault just the fact that a car that had autopilot killed it’s owner.

I’m a little surprised the police was so receptive to the claim. Perhaps the township in question is well funded so they’ve got excess time and can deal with traffic issues like that, but I’ve never gotten the same level of responsiveness from police in central Ohio.
