Christ ship that thing to Australia and Moog will buy it right away

Andrew speaks truth

I’m worried about your safety

Comment zombie here: did this ever make it into an article of any sort?

Thanks Doug. Now I’ll never become an internet meme :)

At the risk of being a firestarter, I’m all for restricting magazine sizes. I’m all for background checks and three day wait periods before purchasing a weapon.

Glad to hear it.

America, where we dance away our money and then wonder why our communities continually under-fund our public servants

I’ll second that

This smells of civil asset forfeiture. And thus it smells rotten. If DA’s want to keep their job, they’ll be wise to not tread too heavily on those people who have money to own expensive cars.

And like a good engineer, my english/grammer is subpar

I want to commend you on your writing. As a fellow mechanical engineer, I massive appreciate your contributions to Jalopnik of late.

^My first thought

I live near the production site and saw one driving around on 5/23 but must have been a pre-production model that a worker got to take home for the night. Good looking car

Road tripping on my brand new wheels/tires and trying not to speed

The cooler a major car manufacturer can make me when I’m driving, the greater the likelihood I’m going to buy their vehicles.

Now if I can just convince my fellow consumers that 4 doors plus a long bed and a 4x4 manual transmission is a good idea, maybe the future will be ours

I’m curious about buying stock trims vs. higher level trims. For instance, the Taco crowd seems to exclusively go for the from factory off-road trims. But do people buy the lowest stock they can (from factory or private party) and then upgrade them? It seems like a truer moding world that way to me

Being a mechanical engineer, and having a grandfather and family friends who did basic wrenching all the time.
