I don’t think it’s surreal at all. In fact, I think the whole thing plays out strangely “realistic”, in that people’s reactions to the apocalypse aren’t so one-dimensional. I love how it plays on Hero’s anxiety and general unpreparedness, etc.

Patricia won’t have a copy of the game until tonight at midnight, after which she’ll work her ass off to try to get a review up in the next week or so. Given that she’s a Fallout superfan and smart critic, I imagine y’all will enjoy reading her thoughts even after we’ve all been playing the game.
I always kind of loved the bugs, they ensured a truly unique experience. That said I play on PC and 90% of the time someone will fix it through a mod or a simple console command to rectify issues.

Secret of Mana started as a snes cd title. When the hardware fell apart, it was ported to cartridge and they had to cut a bunch of content to get it to fit. Its part of why so many of the final weapon orbs were relegated to random drops in the final area.

I don’t think I’ve ever watched an anime adaptation that was better than the manga. I’ve pretty much switched entirely over to manga at this point.
