Kind of an uneventful weekend but holy shit is The People v. O.J. amazing

Used to be better about finding good newer stuff (and I'm sure it's out there) but right now:

How do I put this delicately…? Vice sucks

I saw Power Rangers with a friend (translation: I was really desperate for shit to do) and enjoyed it even if I didn't think it was a good movie. Seeing Bryan Cranston and Bill Hader was a surprise.

All I remember is really liking seasons 1-3, stopping there for whatever reason, and never catching up even though I kind of wanted to at first.

*speaking for AHCA fans*

Neil Young's "Cortez the Killer," but Zuma's still pretty great.

I'm all for having flawed characters, but sometimes I feel like the show isn't really all that aware of his flaws either. The idea of him being a more young and brash Joss is cool too, although I don't feel like it has much weight since I'm never convinced that he's matured much at all.

As much as I love Buffy, I've always found its feminism a little questionable. Most of it comes from shit Xander does and the feeling that Joss doesn't see him as being in the wrong when he clearly is. I always go back to Season 5 when he scolds Buffy for breaking Riley's heart, even after he pretty much cheated on

My friend has his autograph on her shoes and I'm never not jealous

Start with this or his self-titled if you want him at his most folksy and subdued, XO or Figure 8 if you have more of a soft spot for baroque pop. I personally find Figure 8 just a bit too inconsistent to call it my favorite of his, but really you can't go wrong with anything he did.

I'd probably put their 1969 self-titled above their debut, but it's still a classic all the same.

-I finished Universal Harvester Friday night. I pretty much knew how I felt about Wolf In White Van after my first reading, but with John Darnielle's second book I'm not so sure. I liked the characters and particularly how Jeremy and Steve's storylines got resolved, but I can't quite put my finger on anything else,

Eternal Sunshine is probably my go to answer for favorite movie of all time, but I don't think I could emotionally stomach watching it more than once a year

Beloved for school and hopefully Universal Harvester when/if i have time.

He has a pretty huge discography, so thanks so much

-None of my friends wanted to see John Wick 2, go figure.

I think it's that I'm way more passionate and interested in music. So while I'll always have a place in my heart for bad movies, music is a different story.
