What I think filmmakers should focus on is remaking movies that sucked, and making them better. For instance, remake United Passions as a Scorcese-esque crime drama instead of as FIFA propaganda.

I've never seen Kids, but it has a killer soundtrack (Sebadoh, Folk Implosion, Slint). That being said, the movie sounds pretty fucking terrible
