And the funny thing is, I am that young kid afraid of girls. Besides Zen Arcade era Husker Du (and even that was pretty different from.. say Black Flag), hardcore just doesn't have much depth to me.

80s punk is where it's at. It had Burma, Husker Du, the 'Mats, the Minutemen. I could go on for hours, but that's pointless. To me the 90s were kind of a musical dark ages (with Pulp, Blur, Radiohead and Pavement being execptions)
