if they’re testing, that’s shitty, but if it’s about a need to remain alert, they make cbd lotions that are like magic, at least for muscle aches. zaps the pain, and no high or altered mental state at all.

“Did your gynecologist ever try to prescribe anything else for your cramps?”
GOD YES. YES YES YES TO THE YES.
I wish more states would legalize it, so that more states could get access to the high-CBD strains & edibles & topicals— they’re not so easy to come by in a lot of places. CBD products leave you lucid enough for a day job.
Seconded! - My monthly OTC-pain-reliever poisoning has dropped off drastically ever since I was able to get my hands on regular edibles.
Also, gynecologists need to STOP saying “Oh, just take Advil” (or “heating pad” or “herbal tea”) to women who come to them with wickedly life-crippling cramps. Because THAT is how you get women who take 16 Advils a day, 4-5 days a month, for 20+ years, just trying to get through life.
Someone else rec’d weed above, but I highly recommend CBD oil pills. Totally legal, doesn’t get you high, works wonders for all types of pain and doesn’t wreck your stomach. Just make sure it’s organic b/c the hemp they make it with is a bio-accumulator.
This was funny, but when I saw the title on Twitter it really god my hopes up that he had been fired.
I was like that too — I don’t know the rest of your health profile, but the pill saved my life. I still get discomfort, but nothing like the painful, laying on the floor of office or needing to sit in the bath for hours pain that I had experience prior that from when I got my period at age 11 :(
i don’t have a great alternative, but just FYI
I have some chronic pain issues so I’ve taken a lot of NSAIDS (mostly high dose ibuprofen) over the past five months or so and I went to the doctor yesterday and admitted I’ve switched over to edibles (weed) as much as I can, and her response was “Hey, that’s great. That will do way less damage to your stomach and…
To show my struggle against totalitarianism I adopt the symbols and methods of totalitarianism.
It sucked. But there are not only countless succesful male comedians out there doing similar caliber stuff but many of them have been vocally anti-trump, pro-gun legislation, etc. Those dudes don’t get this.
She’s definitely hit or miss for me re: stand-up and interviews (I thought her show was pretty consistently good, which makes sense because if you have more good writers = better quality jokes; she is clearly very, very privileged and not at all aware of that fact), but I do think there’s a special hate-on certain…
I really, really wanted to like her special but I gave up after 10 minutes or so. It was exclusively ‘ooh a woman talking about sex *how unladylike*’. I know she is capable of social commentary - her show is full of it - but 10 minutes in, she hadn’t made any interesting points so I gave up. It was really…
They should weight the stars based on how many minutes people watch.
I’m conflicted. On the one hand, I’m 100% on her side and 100% opposed to the alt-right. On the other hand, her special was not good. I’m a fan of her show, and I liked her movie a lot, and I liked her previous special, but this one sucked, frankly.
Female comics to check out thread right here!
I like Iliza Shlesinger, Ali Wong, Kathleen Madigan, classic Wanda Sykes (Sick and Tired), and, yes, Amy Schumer.
This article doesn’t mention it, but there was a screen shot that showed William with his arm around another woman’s waist at the party.
You forgot:
