While I don’t think Beyoncé is as sweet as she comes across, I don’t think she’d be so cruel as to tell a woman whose husband just had a breakdown that they’re both shit. One of the Kardashians, on the other hand...

It REEKS of PR bullshit. First thing I thought was “well, I guess they’re dropping albums or something.”

My dad’s side was Irish... they enjoyed fighting their drunk dad in the front yard, ruining most family parties by fighting and reppin’ Notre Dame, like because none of us were ever smart enough to go there.

Same here. Runs in the family. She did an amazing job of humanizing the struggle and shutting down the misconceptions.

Carrie Fisher’s words helped me get sober and take my mental health seriously. She had a profound impact on me and I am honestly a better, stronger person after taking her wisdom to heart.

My jaw literally dropped.

I’d say “go and tell us all about it,” but I think we know they’re not above kidnapping at this point.

Some people are just genuinely dicks and I thought maybe that was the case here. I see it now.

I was trying to respond to you! Gah, dumb Kinja.

Because you seem hell bent on shitting on a resource meant to help victims.

Jesus Christ, why do I get the sense you don’t know shit about victims of domestic abuse. No one is treating them like a child. No one is examining them against their will. It feels like you’re exaggerating this simply to have something to get pissy and sarcastic about. Or your trolling for funsies.

You’re making a lot of assumptions that the stylists are terrible people who will just run around talking shit on their clients. Any decent person/smart business person won’t do something like that.

Hey, do you have any meth memes?

I’m a terribly-nervous flyer. I always tell the flight attendants because I’ve had panic attacks on flights before. Back when I still drank, they used to give me free booze and would come check on me once in a while with snacks and updates.

Really? That bums me out to hear.

I remember re-runs on Nick at Nite or something and not understanding why it was a big deal. It seemed like every other punchline (no pun intended) was him threatening to hit or kill his wife and then she rolled her eyes.

That’s fine. You can probably Google it.

He’s been an extremely successful producer for a long time now. He’s just starting to come out with his own music now. He opened for Beyonce’s tour after working with her. He just released a book, I think it’s part-memoir/part-motivational.

Or maybe he’s just different and kind of silly.

I will say that I appreciate his relentless positivity. I may not know what he’s talking about half the time, but these days, I hold on to anything that makes my heart feel warm.
