Slight more right wing? That'd work if she is running against Romney but Cruz and Trump are goddamn monsters

You know Sanders and Clinton have very similar views right? like 95% similar views.
And sometimes actual links to Breitbart! And vague allusions to “voter fraud.” They’re an embarrassment, and I’m a Bernie supporter. Come on, guys, get your shit together.
I’d argue it’s worse, since it posits that caring about justice is inherently a negative thing.
Elizabeth Warren isn’t the female Bernie Sanders. She’s polished and professional in a way that he has never had to be.
“I’m not a misogynist, I’d vote for Elizabeth Warren!” is the new “I’m not racist, I have black friends!”
Yeah, that’s easy to say since she’s not running and doesn’t seem to ever have any intention to run for president.
You didn’t say she’s “establishment.” You said she’s “for sale to the highest bidder.” (Prove that via her Senate record, BTW.) Then you used the tired old “Elizabeth Warren Get-out-of-sexism-free” card.
Oh, you think a loud possibly atheist woman with a six dollar haircut and an ill-fitting suit wouldn’t be successful in national politics? WEIRD.
Yup. It actually makes me so mad I wrote a post on it:
Sure many Sanders supporters would vote for Warren, but Elizabeth Warren isn’t what ‘Bernadette’ would be. I don’t think they’re saying that Bernie supporters simply wouldn’t vote for a woman, but that if you transposed his personality and political style onto a woman, that woman would not be a successful politician.
Elizabeth Warren is a politician I admire. She is not a presidential candidate, and has been very clear that she has no desire to be one. Every time a Bernie supporter is accused of being maybe just the tiniest bit sexist for loathing HRC, they bring up Elizabeth Warren as an example of a woman they would totally vote…
Jesus Christ. You fucking people who always say “I’d vote for Elizabeth Warren,” as though she is some sort of magical unicorn substitute vagina person who would be SO PERFECT “not like that hideous criminal Hillary Clinton who is SO HORRIBLE and I’m not SEXIST because I would vote for the one woman Senator I can name”
Oooh, I haven’t been called a hillary-bot yet!
I’m starting to think that Elizabeth Warren is the go-to hypothetical for people who want to defend against sexism in this election. Everyone says they would vote for her! She isn’t running, so it’s very easy to say that.
But my point is, are they saying that because of the superdelegates or are they saying that because Hillary has won 2.5 million more votes than Bernie so far and his chances of surmounting her pledged delegate lead is increasingly low?
No. There’s nothing questionable about it because “campaigning on an illusion” is literally what every politician ever has done.
It drives me nuts when Sanders’ supporters try to pretend he’s some noble grandfather figure and not someone with a healthy ego who wants to win. There isn’t anything necessarily wrong with it but they condemn Clinton for these things. It’s infuriating.
I heard an interview with him a while ago where part of his strategy was to flip PLEDGED delegates at the convention (this was before he ran off a string of wins, so he’s stopped saying it now). Bernie wants to win. He’ll take any path he can find to get there. Good for him, but let’s all stop pretending anyone’s…
Yea, shame on me for relying on the statistics and studies that have been done concerning childcare! Other commentators have pointed out that even in duel-income families, and even among people who feel they are splitting the work 50-50, women usually do more of it. Not to mention the emotional work that tends to fall…
