Yes and BMW apparently disagrees because their timing chain is now on the back end. Which would not have been too bad because it is a chain, but they still use plastic chain guides that wear out at quicker than a belt.

Sifting with left hand by itself is not too bad, but trying to heel-toe with left hand shifting really threw me off. I guess there is more muscle memory involved in that whole sequence.

Yeah I remember that HKS kit, I recall it had a flattened section of pipe that went over the top of A/C belt. I think there was also a very long run that goes under the intercooler.

Or you could get the Spearco kit, remember that? Probably has the most complicated plumbing and the weirdest intercooler design that I really wasn’t sure would help at all.

This car has A/C? I am surprised because the intercooler plumbing ran right through where A/C compressor was mounted. This was common for this car, the A/C has to go to add aftermarket intercooler.

This car never came with an intercooler stock, so adding an aftermarket intercooler has always been a nightmare. There is no proper gap to run plumbing except over the top of radiator.

At least it comes with a VIN matching watch.

Who cares about lap time, just enjoying that good old F1 sound...
