It’s just soap with some kids pre-foaming it in a factory in China.

I think you were looking at the Long Range. The base is $40k before tax credit.

These are not cheap cars.

Why not make a smaller compact Silvia EV while at it?

Heck yeah! I can’t wait for bigotry AI comments!

I will take a 6 year old used 2024 LC500 because it has newer infotainment system. So I have updated my new life goal to simply live long enough to year 2030.

AI is simply adding this to the long list of reasons of why they will annihilate humans once they take over.

Rule #2 is that convertibles with backseats are lame.

Not surprised. A new Type S with $0 down will easily turn to $1k a month on a 5 year loan. Granted a fifth of the population would not buy a Type S, but maybe they should.

If the OEM tire is PS4S, yes. If not, get PS4S.

I was surprised by how many LHD cars I saw during my last trip there.

Most newer phones can film landscape while holding as portrait.

CCS refers to the 2 added bottom wires for DC charging, and it’s literally for charging only, as it still relies on the top J1772/Type 2 for communicating with the vehicle. So by itself CCS is nonfunctional and about as much of an afterthought as it gets. But yeah made more sense if I said CCS is incapable of AC

Doesn’t really matter if it’s Type 1 or 2, both CCS are incapable of DC charging. Just look at it, it’s 2 DC wires added to the bottom of AC plug. To it bluntly, it’s nothing but a thoughtless hardware patch and needs to be obsolete.

Time for gas stations to remove some of their gas pumps and convert to chargers.

I totally agree. My passion for cars started with a Countach poster, and yet I’m still more than happy just tinkering with my old beaters.

Guess what! I’ve got a fever, and the only prescription, is more blown Apex seals!

Sounds more like he flew thousands of miles to stalk Foxconn and wish for a chance to meet as a walk-in.
