Following previous R chassis strategy, the GT-R was only going to be the top trim. And by 2001 the V35 Skyline / Infiniti G35 was very close to production, not sure how much freedom the 2001 GT-R concept was allowed to depart away. As it’s fairly clear the hard points of the chassis resembled V35 closely. Then by 2005…
