This car was dead 5 years ago, but demand was so low that Honda was able to keep production going with carryover spare parts from all these years ago.

I totally agree. It is one of the best V6 on the market and Lotus did some good magic on it. Plus this 400hp package would likely cost much less than sourcing from BMW.

At least Honda devoted some in-house effort, successful or not, as the new NSX has dedicated chassis and a Honda engine. This new Supra falls more into the no f**ks given category.
