Great Job, Internet! That's one minute twenty-two that you owe me.

Yahweh out of your league.

"The higher you get, the higher you get."

Definitely worth seeing. If you can, it helps to familiarize yourself with the players ahead of time, as it can get confusing as to who's who (combination of large cast, almost all of the men wearing beards, and all wearing goggles and face masks, which they only occasionally remove to let you see who's underneath).

Can't recommend highly enough the PBS Frontline documentary "Storm Over Everest," made by the great David Breashears. Lots of interviews with many of the survivors, and absolutely riveting.

Pretty much everybody who made it past junior high school.

Every time I see something written by Alex McCown on this site, I wonder to myself, "What's the 90-year old actor who played the cop in Frenzy and the Q character in Never Say Never Again doing writing for the AV Club?"

Lots of Barry Lyndon in the (beautifully done) piece. I could have done with a bit less Eyes Wide Shut though: it kept reminding me how much I hated it when I saw it.

Apparently he is. This may help explain the reason why:

Okay, just this once:

I'm not 100% sure it had a second episode.

Tomorrow night: Colbert Part II—The Sequen!

That would require actual effort. So much easier to scour YouTube for crap like this.
Great Job, Internet!

You should have checked again. They moved it last week.

Will you guys Everest with making the bad puns?

Kenya clarify that statement for us please?

Internet, You're Out of Your Element!
