Really?

Yup.  I was recently watching this show for the first time and gave up after a few episodes of season 3.  Nothing was fun or interesting or really anything I thought was worth my time.

I just finished this and it was pretty great even know some broad strokes of what was to happen.

Yeah but selective pressure would then push the animals towards surviving in this non human world.  They would likely lose much of the 'human killing' genes if it were a decent amount of time.  Which it clearly is since there is no evidence of human civilization.

Then the humans are gone for thousands of years (or whatever) but yet these animals are still in the stage of evolution that was optimized to kill humans.  OK

Or maybe the production team actually threatened to void their contract and boot them all if they threw another challenge.

The crazy thing is that even though Probst was so pissed, they didn't do anything about it for the next TC!  PG could have just thrown the next challenge to get rid of James.  I'm actually not sure why she didn't just do that (she wouldn't know he had the idol)

Oh and how about Aaron?  I don't know if he could have out maneuvered Todd, but man did that guy get boned.

Yes agree.  I feel all Amanda had to do was say "I let Todd do all the dirty work, I controlled him behind the scenes and kept his paranoia in check" and then not apologize and she would have easily won.

Yeah, let me know what you think of Jean-Robert.  I feel like he might have had a great plan but then just executed it poorly.
