What do you think of this list of iconic movie rugs?
It's both accessible and comprehensive, which isn't an easy thing to do. I definitely want to check out some of the recommended works. Also, I noticed that it's the only post with the "primer" tag. I hope there will be more!
'S wonderful.
As others have said, I believed Nora at the time, but the more I think about it, the more I think it might not have been true. But it felt emotionally honest, which is what mattered to the two people in that room. "A lie agreed upon", maybe? Yes, that was a Deadwood reference.
The critical response seems to be unanimously, overwhelmingly positive.
I hope you give it another chance.
My thoughts exactly.
He is? This conversation about tennis took an unexpected turn.
There are quite a few "show, don't tell" comments on the review. I don't feel like getting embroiled in a discussion about that, but it seems like those people are missing the point somewhat, since it wasn't exposition. It was a story about what might (or might not) have happened.
(The first season does have some wonderful episodes/moments. I do think everyone should watch it, rather than skipping ahead.)
How many episodes did you see? I recognise your description of it from what I remember about the first season, which was an adaptation of the novel. The show became something utterly unique and much more interesting in the second and third seasons, with wonderful moments of levity and absurdity. It was a joy to watch.
Yeah, it was all that I wanted and more. I absolutely loved it.
They had a song about David Ferrer?
Absolutely. He's #17 on this all-time ELO list:
I probably shouldn't refer to Ferrer's career in the past tense. Sorry, David.
Jonx. Sort of.
