I only mention it because there are lots of very good Spanish players, who tend to play better on clay than other surfaces (for obvious reasons). But they never seem to beat Nadal. I am thinking of Ferrer, who had a good record against most of the players in the world, but always seemed to lose easily to Nadal.

How many matches does Nadal lose to Spanish players? It never, ever seems to happen.

Yeah, I think that goes without saying. Carreño Busta seems to be on an upward trajectory this year (#10 in the Singles Race), but I don't see him beating Nadal.

That's hilarious. I did laugh out loud.

Ostapenko is the wild card here. She's only 19. Ranked #34.

I think Kyrgios will be disappointed with his performance, which will only be remembered for what he did to his racket(s).

I don't know enough about some of the players in the women's quarter-finals, but I guess the winner of Svitolina vs Halep will fancy their chances of winning the title.

Jim Courier said that there's "no love lost" between Mladenovic and Garcia, who apparently had a big falling out, after being doubles partners. He said that would be an interesting final, but I don't see it happening.

I believe she left the press conference in tears. I think she was also annoyed with Mladenovic's behaviour.

Yeah, I would be surprised if the top 4 didn't make the semi-finals.

I didn't like the crowd's treatment of Muguruza.

I think it might be Wawrinka vs Nadal in the final.

It will be interesting to see if Thiem can beat Djokovic.

Yeah, it really was close… MILOS!!!

All my picks are Simon & Garfunkel songs, with the exception of the theme for Louis CK's Horace and Pete, which definitely deserves an honourable mention. Most of my favourites were on a compilation that I bought on vinyl when I was in my mid teens, so they aren't exactly deep cuts, but those songs still resonate with

Begin at the beginning and go on till you come to "The End"; then stop watch The Leftovers.

I'm sure my experience of it would have been different in those circumstances: a shared experience (rather than a solo journey), with interminable waits between seasons and episodes. I also wouldn't have to worry about spoilers, which appear anywhere and everywhere. I just paused the latest Arsecast, which is

In a word: Lindelovian. More LOST, plus the incredible finale of The Leftovers.

How would you rank the seasons of LOST?
