Kim’s outburst at Howard was perfect - to the point that I felt a little sorry for Howard, at the end there where he said “what can I do to make it right?”... You just KNOW he’s willing to write a personal check, or even give Jimmy a job, SOMEthing... and when she tells him, witheringly, that there’s nothing he can

You’re right, that’s a much more 2010s backsplash. But overall I love the little period details the show throws in. As the episode opens, in the background of the hospital, one nurse/orderly is explaining what fantasy football is to the other.

No filler. Everything Vince Gilligan does means something. Just wait and you’ll see.

And yet the furniture in Howards office with the cream leather and chrome chairs was so on-point, i commented about it to my wife.

Jimmy doesn’t like Howard because he was a “front” for all of Chuck’s BS and largely served to enable Chuck’s worst tendencies, specifically as it relates to Jimmy’s suspension. It’s true that Howard has been generally more decent as of late but its hard to look past that bad behavior.

Who doesn’t? It’s just common sense.

I assume Nacho and Kim are going to ride off into the sunset together.

Pretty sure it's the pill switcheroo.

Barbara Kean should get an Emmy and an Oscar, just for the Elevator Scene,

This is the genius of the BB Universe. You could probably do a series based on Badger and Skinny Pete and with the acting and writing talent, it’d be one of the best things on TV. Hell, even a prequal about Spooge and his Skank wife could be interesting.

Yeah, that was blood-curdling.

Remember, everyone, not only do we have to worry about what happens to Kim before Breaking Bad begins, we also have to do the same with Nacho. What a look on Michael Mando’s face when Gus puts the leash on and tells him that he’s is. Yikes.

No one delivers death from above like Esposito. That was on par with ‘I will kill your infant daughter’ while Walt was kneeling in the desert with his hands tied behind his back. I would watch that man read the back of a ketchup bottle.

As mentioned earlier in the thread, it’s always a surprise when a really quiet character explodes.

Wow, what a scene. I was simultaneously feeling righteously angry on behalf of Kim (on behalf of Jimmy), sorry for Howard, and pissed at Jimmy because Kim doesn’t know what he’s keeping from her.

The terror and cringing tension that Nacho showed when Gus told him  that he knew.  Great job by Mando on that one.

Wow! This might be my favorite episode of the series thus far, or at least in the top three, for sure.

I love Kim.

Kim’s explosion tonight reminded how much scarier quiet characters are than loud, exuberant ones, because when you finally see them crack it’s TERRIFYING. Her rage, paired with Howard’s cracking voice, makes me hope Fabian and Seehorn get a pair of Emmy noms this year.

Welp, if last year’s infamous court scene was Michael McKean’s emmy nod, I’d say Rhea’s came in that showdown with Howard. Wow. Bravo.
