"Penn State students should not be praised for raising money for charity."

.....

Wait, seriously? Have you met a college student? I'll give you a hint: raising $13 million for charity in the largest student-run philanthropy is not normal and is deserving of attention and admiration, no matter what school it is.

"ESPN's

But she was Dot Matrix! She was a movie star!

Thanks, mate. LOVE The Smithereens. They're so good in a way that's almost subtle. like not blatant, it sneaks up on you a bit.

That's wonderful! I've only had the fortune of being a Clevelander and a Londoner. So you understand reverse culture shock a bit, and if you know anything about Cleveland, well.... :) Went to Scotland only once, just took a drive along the southern coast right above the Lake District, so I didn't experience it

You should listen to it on your bad Moto Guzzi.

You're very right!!! Couldn't remember what that was. I knew it wasnt BBC At The Proms, but it was on late Friday evenings. That's sort of the UK's American Bandstand I reckon. You lived in Scotland! Why on earth did you come back to the US? Or did you?

Steely Dan duo Walter Becker and Donald Fagen and the remaining band will catch up with Elvis Costello & the Impostors in early July for the mid-summer kick-off July 6 in Morrison, CO.

LOL, I did try but there's soooo much! I only knew music that had either made it in the US or was made post-internet, so all the classic stuff from the 60's-80's, the one-hit wonders, more obscure stuff, I had to catch up by watching BBC4 on Friday nights. I'll have to find some of those and drag them out for you

Of course Fagen will be there. There's no Dan without him.

They're coming pretty close to me so that's a show I need to get to. And neither The Dan nor Elvis is getting any younger. Might be a last chance kinda deal.

I was just checking out the tour dates and locations. They're playing in a lot of different states. Think I'm gonna jump on a pair of tix.

Your first post was my favourite off this album, but really, all the songs were good.

Beautiful guitar. People around here used to ask "is it George Harrison?"

Loved this!

I find their sound very familiar, like some 70s band I can't quite put my finger on.

Both are great versions. Glad Clapton is back to his roots again, the Blues! It seems like he got off track for a while, but he's got it right again.

Ah yes, they call it stormy Monday, but Tuesday's just as bad. Great job by Cream, or as they refer to them in England, The Cream.

I guess the second song "Get Off" was disabled. Maybe this will work...
