Thanks for sharing. I had no idea the pick up fees were 15%! The Delivery fees seem more reasonable given the additional work involved. While I like the apps, I will be calling my pick up orders from now on.

I’m usually the voice stating how shitty tipping is on the Salty articles but even I find myself tipping extra on takeout from my favorite Pho place. I know business is down and its my go to place when I’m out of dinner ideas. I dont want to lose them.
We haven’t.
Or, if you’ve been reading Jalopnik as long as I have, you may know me as the one-time COTD winner Teargas or Comrade Teargaskov
Well, I knew that snake was my own sweet dad
From a worn-out picture that my mother’d had
And I knew that scar on his cheek and his evil eye
He was big and bent and gray and old
And I looked at him and my blood ran cold
And I said: “My name is ‘Sue X Æ A-12!’ How do you do!?
You know if you don’t like an article, you can stop reading. Look for another article that you like.
I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again. No matter how many Americans he has caused the death of. No matter how incompetent and racist he is. There is a better than 75% chance he is getting a second term.
Unfortunately it’ll be health care workers dying too.
I mean, I get it. But when you live in a world as fucked up as ours, it’s probably pretty difficult as a writer not to write about it.
Feel better now?
THIS. It almost never loads the first time anymore. Has anyone been working to improve Kinja since new owners took over? Because comments are almost impossible to use on mobile these days. I rarely get them to properly load.
“Executives are confident that the worst may be over amid the coronavirus outbreak...”
Not surprising really. The smart dealers will have the ability to weather a month or two of this. Why sell at a discount now if they think that things will rebound quickly after restrictions are lifted? If things don’t improve by Summer, then you may start seeing some dealers panic selling.
A bunch of people at work picked this year to get new chevy trucks
I disagree. The Fords especially look fine the ram are fine and I don’t even mind the chevy. Imo the worst looking trucks are from when manufacturers started switching to the rounded bodies. In the 90s and early 2000s.
Discounts on the Pacifica are often ~$10K. You won’t see more than $4-5K off a Sienna, and that basically only on the top trim.
This seems like a rare morning shift consisting of just some good stories and write ups instead of multiple heavy handed “fuck this aspect of the auto industry/the world today” with the writer playing some sort of angle, and its extremely refreshing. As a regular, I sincerely appreciate it, even though it might not…
The Sienna will be hybrid-only in 2021???

do we go as you say “scissors,”
