I’ve been on three cruises and enjoyed them, but the industry really needs to clean up its act. Starting with eliminating the use of heavy fuel oil and the dumping of trash and sewage at sea.

Holy shit are you actually me? I worked 2nd or 3rd shift for a decade and the best part BY FAR was empty ass aisles at 2am. My human avoidance tendencies got so bad that I would skip aisles that had open pallets in them in case an employee-human would show up while I was dithering over tortilla choices or whatever. 🤣

Yes, dropped them off this afternoon and took in a new guy ! 

I have a fantasy where people find that adopting pets provides immunity from the virus. It goes right along with the one where people find donating money to Doctors without Borders does the same thing.

Covid friends! I finally feel better today, after a week of being Not That Sick with fatigue, low fever, and an intermittent cough, and three days of Okay That’s a Little Scary shortness of breath. I’m sick of being totally winded just going up and down stairs, or trying to walk and talk at the same time.

Cooking and baking waaaaay too much! Today I wanted to use up some bananas but I’m sick of banana bread, so I made banana and pineapple bread, and used coconut oil instead of butter. It’s so moist, I’m afraid I did not bake it enough? I’m not sure if I like it or not, it’s kind of weird and surprisingly bland.
