Driving an ‘02 Explorer Sport, I have no issue with missing glue on trim or cable ties holding the front bumper cover together. But I would have the rear seal replaced and try to put the next quarter million miles on it, where Grandfather says drive it until it dies and I'll get $5k to find you another car.

You express this far better than I ever could. Using the terms “Autopilot” and “Full Self Driving” currently is selling far more than is possible. But, when I read the description on Tesla’s website it reads to me that they are selling hardware that in the future may be able to support that capacity.

“Lastly, in this rambling post, Any vehicle is an ‘off-road vehicle’ if you are brave enough.”

It allows you to take you hands off the wheel? Nope, hard pass.

II'll miss your usually wise and witty self. Hoping everything goes well for you and yours.

That would mean that the Villager we had was a truck. A previous owner removed the second and third row seats to do something.

I would daily an '80 Chevette again.

Too true, I learned early in my driving adventures to keep the rubber on the high spots and everything else hanging above the dips.

And how many of us have had spoofed calls showing that they are coming from our own number? As far as I know it is impossible to complete a call to the phone you are calling from.

No, I’m not ready for autonomy because the autonomy is not ready. I think people want full sci-fi transport pods, but it just isn’t there yet.

I still miss my Pintos, although my first car was a Chevette hatchback. And I later owned a first gen Sentra and a Cavalier hatchback that was 21 at the time I owned it.

Hmph, used to run my Chevette up to 90 quite a bit working KC Renfest and doing college theater show at the same time. And it was over ten years old when we bought it.
