I bought their record because the frontman from Everclear name-dropped/raved about them in a little side-bar column in Rolling Stone. He did not, however, mention what type of music they played. I was confused on my first listen, to say the least.

I'd go to bat for "White, Discussion" and "I Alone" but not much else.

Every week at Circuit City you could get the top 20 albums for something like $4.99 or $5.99 a piece.

Was it? I don't remember seeing anything like that in some of the Wu solo records, Busta Rhymes CDs, etc. I DO recall seeing a shit-ton of advertising in CDs by that rapper Necro and other "artists" on his label.
