i don't feel too strongly about it, but i have a problem with the race for the same reason I hate the space diner scene with Obi Wan and his buddy…it really shows that no one realized how fucking stupid it is to graft contemporary Americana imagery (Nascar races, fucking vintage diners) onto a galaxy far far away.
